New page of a new journal

I was having a really bad day when I decided to make this page, but the good is that it turned it out the way I wanted it to so that made me feel a bit better.

I've not yet made my new journal, I'm not actually sure if I want to make/buy a new one or whether I should just stick this page in my TRAVEL JOURNAL to keep everything together in chronological order.

The quote comes from a poem but Derek Walcott called Love After Love :

"The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other's welcome,

and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you

all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,

the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life. "

The poem itself had nothing to do with how I was feeling, but those three lines really did.
